Rows wrong or missing?
Send us the shape of this statement, not its contents. The report below is made in this browser. It keeps where text sits, dates and column headings. Every name, amount, reference and account number is replaced with x and 1, as you can see. Nothing is sent until you send it.
Then email the report to support@statementtocsv.co.uk and say which bank it is from. We’ll add the layout and let you know.

Coutts is a private bank within NatWest Group. Coutts clients often have their affairs handled by an accountant or family office, who needs statements in a spreadsheet. Coutts support is in beta: we haven’t tested a real Coutts statement, so check that the result says “Verified”.
How to download your Coutts statement as a PDF
- Log in to Coutts online banking.
- Choose the account and look for Statements or Documents.
- Select the statement and save the PDF.
- Your Coutts private banker can usually provide copies of statements that aren’t available online.
Clients with several accounts or currencies should download each account’s statements separately.
Menu names change from time to time and can differ between the app and the website. If you can’t find statements, search for “statements” in the app or online banking help.
What to check on your Coutts statement
Check your current account statement for a date, a description, money out, money in and a running balance.
Which export to choose
Usually the CSV for Excel, for an accountant or adviser to work from.
Common issues with Coutts statements
- Several accounts. Statements from different accounts are separated automatically and checked one account at a time.
- Beta layout. If a row is flagged, compare it with the PDF and send a layout report.
- Privacy. Because statements are read in the browser, they never leave the computer of the person converting them.
Support status: beta
StatementToCSV reads statements by their columns, not with a fixed template for each bank, so some Coutts statements may already convert. But we haven’t yet tested a real Coutts statement, so we don’t claim support. Verified means every extracted row adds up to the balances printed on the statement. If you don’t see Verified, the converter shows you where the balances stopped adding up.
You can help: click Help us support this layout under the result. It creates a report of the statement’s layout in your browser, with every name, amount, reference and account number replaced by x and 1. Email it to support@statementtocsv.co.uk. When Coutts is tested, it will be announced on the updates page.
StatementToCSV is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Coutts. The name is used only to describe the statements the converter reads.
