Terms of service
Last updated: 2026-10-20
1. About these terms
These terms cover your use of StatementToCSV at statementtocsv.co.uk (“the service”). The service is provided by Lopamudra Naik, trading as StatementToCSV, India (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@statementtocsv.co.uk. By using the service you agree to these terms.
2. What the service does
StatementToCSV converts bank statement PDFs into CSV files and checks the transactions against the balances printed on the statement. It runs in your web browser; statements are not uploaded to us. It reads existing statements only. It does not create, edit or fill in bank statements, and must not be used to make or alter any financial document.
3. Your responsibilities
- Only convert statements you are entitled to use, such as your own or a client’s with their permission.
- Check the output before relying on it. The balance check is designed to catch missing or misread rows, but you are responsible for the records you file or submit.
- Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to break it, overload it, or use it for fraud.
4. Free and Pro plans
Single-statement conversion is free. Pro is a paid subscription at the prices shown on the pricing page, billed monthly or yearly until cancelled. During the beta, Pro features are available to everyone at no cost; we’ll give notice on the updates page before that changes.
5. Payments
Dodo Payments is the merchant of record and reseller for all purchases of StatementToCSV. When you buy Pro, you buy it from Dodo Payments under its terms of sale. Dodo Payments handles payment, VAT and invoicing, including receipts and payment disputes. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time and keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Your first payment can be refunded in full within 14 days, no questions asked. See the refund policy.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available and accurate, but it is provided as it is, and may change, be interrupted, or have errors. Support for each bank’s statement layout is described honestly on the site: “tested” banks have been checked on real statements; “beta” banks have not.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by relying on converted data without checking it. Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount paid for Pro in the previous 12 months or £50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and if you are a consumer, nothing affects your statutory rights.
9. Not affiliated with any bank
StatementToCSV is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any bank or accounting software company. Names of banks and software are used only to describe what the service works with.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed. Material changes will be noted on the updates page.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
