Try a fictional sample:

Works with text PDFs that have Date, Description, Paid in / Paid out (or Amount) and Balance columns. Scanned or photographed statements are not supported yet. The samples are fictional test data.

If your RBS statement prints a balance on every row, the converted spreadsheet can be checked line by line in Excel: each balance should equal the previous one plus money in, minus money out.

RBS’s own download, or the PDF statement?

RBS digital banking may also offer a recent-transactions download. It covers a limited period and isn’t a copy of the statement. Convert the PDF statements when you need older months or figures that match the statements.

Support status: beta

StatementToCSV reads statements by their columns, not with a fixed template for each bank, so some RBS statements may already convert. But we haven’t yet tested a real RBS statement, so we don’t claim support. Verified means every extracted row adds up to the balances printed on the statement. If you don’t see Verified, the converter shows you where the balances stopped adding up.

StatementToCSV is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by RBS. The name is used only to describe the statements the converter reads.
