Rows wrong or missing?
Send us the shape of this statement, not its contents. The report below is made in this browser. It keeps where text sits, dates and column headings. Every name, amount, reference and account number is replaced with x and 1, as you can see. Nothing is sent until you send it.
Then email the report to support@statementtocsv.co.uk and say which bank it is from. We’ll add the layout and let you know.

Tide is a business account used by many sole traders and small limited companies, so its statements often land on a bookkeeper’s desk. Tide support is in beta: we haven’t tested a real Tide statement yet, and the balance check shows whether yours converted completely.
How to download your Tide statement as a PDF
- Log in to Tide on the web or in the app.
- Look for Statements (sometimes under account or more options).
- Choose the period and the PDF format.
- Download or share the PDF to your computer.
Tide offers direct connections to several accounting packages. If the business is already connected, the feed may cover most of the year; PDFs matter for the months before the connection, or when a client sends statements instead of access.
Menu names change from time to time and can differ between the app and the website. If you can’t find statements, search for “statements” in the app or online banking help.
What to check on your Tide statement
Check your statement for a date, transaction details, money in, money out and a running balance.
Which export to choose
Choose the Xero or QuickBooks CSV to match the client’s software, or the CSV for Excel if you work in spreadsheets.
Common issues with Tide statements
- Overlap with a bank feed. If the accounting software already has a Tide feed for part of the year, only import the months the feed doesn’t cover, or you’ll create duplicates.
- Beta layout. If a row is flagged, compare it with the PDF and send a layout report.
- Several Tide accounts. Statements from different accounts are separated and checked one account at a time.
Support status: beta
StatementToCSV reads statements by their columns, not with a fixed template for each bank, so some Tide statements may already convert. But we haven’t yet tested a real Tide statement, so we don’t claim support. Verified means every extracted row adds up to the balances printed on the statement. If you don’t see Verified, the converter shows you where the balances stopped adding up.
You can help: click Help us support this layout under the result. It creates a report of the statement’s layout in your browser, with every name, amount, reference and account number replaced by x and 1. Email it to support@statementtocsv.co.uk. When Tide is tested, it will be announced on the updates page.
StatementToCSV is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Tide. The name is used only to describe the statements the converter reads.
Questions people ask
Does StatementToCSV work with Tide statements?
Tide is in beta. Statements with the usual columns may already convert, and every conversion is checked against the balances.
Can I import Tide statements into Xero?
Yes. Convert the PDF and choose “Xero CSV”. Make sure the dates don’t overlap with transactions already in Xero from a feed.
My client only sent PDFs. Can I check the whole year?
Yes. Use “Several statements” to check for missing months, duplicates and overlaps, then export one combined CSV.
