Rows wrong or missing?
Send us the shape of this statement, not its contents. The report below is made in this browser. It keeps where text sits, dates and column headings. Every name, amount, reference and account number is replaced with x and 1, as you can see. Nothing is sent until you send it.
Then email the report to support@statementtocsv.co.uk and say which bank it is from. We’ll add the layout and let you know.

Bank of Scotland is part of Lloyds Banking Group, alongside Lloyds and Halifax. Support is in beta: we haven’t tested a real Bank of Scotland statement yet. If your statement has a Type column with short codes, the converter joins them into the description, and the balance check shows whether every row was read.
How to download your Bank of Scotland statement as a PDF
- Log on to Bank of Scotland internet banking.
- Choose the account and look for View statements.
- Pick the statement period and save the PDF.
- In the app, statements are usually available from the account’s options.
Business customers may use a separate business internet banking service with its own statements area.
Menu names change from time to time and can differ between the app and the website. If you can’t find statements, search for “statements” in the app or online banking help.
What to check on your Bank of Scotland statement
Check your statement for a date, a description, money in, money out and a running balance, and whether a Type column with codes such as DD, SO, FPI, FPO or DEB is printed.
Which export to choose
Personal accounts: CSV for Excel. Business accounts in accounting software: Xero or QuickBooks CSV.
Common issues with Bank of Scotland statements
- Type column. If one is printed, its codes are joined into the description so they don’t get mixed into amounts.
- Beta layout. If a row is flagged, compare it with the PDF and send a layout report.
- Business statements. Business layouts may differ from personal ones; both are in beta.
Support status: beta
StatementToCSV reads statements by their columns, not with a fixed template for each bank, so some Bank of Scotland statements may already convert. But we haven’t yet tested a real Bank of Scotland statement, so we don’t claim support. Verified means every extracted row adds up to the balances printed on the statement. If you don’t see Verified, the converter shows you where the balances stopped adding up.
You can help: click Help us support this layout under the result. It creates a report of the statement’s layout in your browser, with every name, amount, reference and account number replaced by x and 1. Email it to support@statementtocsv.co.uk. When Bank of Scotland is tested, it will be announced on the updates page.
StatementToCSV is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Bank of Scotland. The name is used only to describe the statements the converter reads.
