Beta Not yet tested on real Lloyds statements. What that means

or drop it here

Read in this browser. Your file is never uploaded.

Try a fictional sample:

Works with text PDFs that have Date, Description, Paid in / Paid out (or Amount) and Balance columns. Scanned or photographed statements are not supported yet. The samples are fictional test data.

Lloyds support is in beta, which means we haven’t yet tested a real Lloyds statement. Check whether your statement has a Type column with short codes beside each transaction: if it does, the converter joins those codes into the description rather than mistaking them for amounts. The balance check tells you whether every row was read.

How to download your Lloyds statement as a PDF

  1. Log on to Lloyds internet banking and pick the account.
  2. Look for View statements or Statements.
  3. Choose the month and download or save the statement as a PDF.
  4. In the Lloyds app, statements are usually under the account’s options; save the PDF to your phone or share it to your computer.

Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland are all part of Lloyds Banking Group, and their online banking works in a similar way.

Menu names change from time to time and can differ between the app and the website. If you can’t find statements, search for “statements” in the app or online banking help.

What to check on your Lloyds statement

Check your statement for a date, a description, money in, money out and a running balance, and whether there is a separate Type column. Where type codes are printed, you may see codes such as DD (direct debit), SO (standing order), FPI and FPO (Faster Payments in and out) and DEB (debit card).

Which export to choose

Choose the CSV for Excel for personal records. Lloyds business customers using Xero or QuickBooks should choose the matching layout.

Common issues with Lloyds statements

Support status: beta

StatementToCSV reads statements by their columns, not with a fixed template for each bank, so some Lloyds statements may already convert. But we haven’t yet tested a real Lloyds statement, so we don’t claim support. Verified means every extracted row adds up to the balances printed on the statement. If you don’t see Verified, the converter shows you where the balances stopped adding up.

You can help: click Help us support this layout under the result. It creates a report of the statement’s layout in your browser, with every name, amount, reference and account number replaced by x and 1. Email it to support@statementtocsv.co.uk. When Lloyds is tested, it will be announced on the updates page.

StatementToCSV is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Lloyds. The name is used only to describe the statements the converter reads.
