Try a fictional sample:

Works with text PDFs that have Date, Description, Paid in / Paid out (or Amount) and Balance columns. Scanned or photographed statements are not supported yet. The samples are fictional test data.

TSB support is in beta: we haven’t tested a real TSB statement yet. If your TSB statement has a date, a description, money in and out, and a balance on its lines, the converter will usually read it, and the balance check will show you whether anything was missed.

How to download your TSB statement as a PDF

  1. Log on to TSB internet banking.
  2. Select the account and look for Statements.
  3. Choose the statement period and save the PDF.
  4. The TSB app may also let you view and save statements from the account screen.

If a statement you need isn’t available online, TSB can usually send a copy.

Menu names change from time to time and can differ between the app and the website. If you can’t find statements, search for “statements” in the app or online banking help.

What to check on your TSB statement

Check your statement for a date, a description, money out, money in and a running balance. The converter matches common heading wordings by meaning; if yours aren’t recognised, a layout report lets us add them.

Which export to choose

Choose the CSV for Excel for personal use; Xero or QuickBooks for a TSB business account in accounting software.

Common issues with TSB statements

Support status: beta

StatementToCSV reads statements by their columns, not with a fixed template for each bank, so some TSB statements may already convert. But we haven’t yet tested a real TSB statement, so we don’t claim support. Verified means every extracted row adds up to the balances printed on the statement. If you don’t see Verified, the converter shows you where the balances stopped adding up.

You can help: click Help us support this layout under the result. It creates a report of the statement’s layout in your browser, with every name, amount, reference and account number replaced by x and 1. Email it to support@statementtocsv.co.uk. When TSB is tested, it will be announced on the updates page.

StatementToCSV is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by TSB. The name is used only to describe the statements the converter reads.
